AD- this is a paid post in collaboration with 20Cogs
A new year, (heck, a new decade) is now stretching out ahead of us. A brand new beginning where we can focus on our financial goals, and what better place to get started than making some extra money online? Some survey sites online can literally pay you pennies for your time, but with 20Cogs, you can actually make a decent amount which you can then put towards your savings, debt, holidays or whatever you like!

What is 20Cogs?
20Cogs is a fantastic way to make some extra money online, you can read my previous post all about how to make money online with 20Cogs. This tells you everything you need to know about 20Cogs, including how it works, and how much you can expect to earn (up to around £200 FYI!).
‘Cogs’ stands for Competitions, Offers, Games and Surveys.
When you join 20Cogs, you will work through 20 ‘offers’ or ‘cogs’ which could be anything from signing up a Graze box subscription (always remember to cancel subscriptions!) to signing up to a survey site. If an offer comes up that isn’t suitable for you, you can skip it and a new offer will appear.
Each offer will earn you a sum of money which can be anything from around £2 to £30, averaging about £10 across the 20 offers. So as you can imagine, the money quickly snowballs as you make your way through the cogs.
Like I mentioned earlier, most people earn around £200 from completing these 20 tasks! You can cash out once you finish all 20 cogs and the money should be in your account within around 30 days.
To get you started, you can get a bonus £10 when you sign up using my special link.
How long does it take to work through the offers on 20Cogs?
This can be a case of ‘how long is a piece of string?’ My partner decided to sign up the other day, and that same evening he completed 17 ‘cogs’ in a few hours.
If you spent a few minutes doing 4 offers a day for 5 days you’d complete all 20 offers without even noticing.
Some offers will take up to 30 days to validate, after which you can cash out. On average you can expect to wait around 30 days for the money to land in your account.
Can everyone make £200 on 20Cogs?
20Cogs has paid out a total of over £1,600,000, to its members, and is rated as 4.4/5 on Trustpilot.
All in all my partner has ended up with around £81 after completing all 20Cogs and is waiting for everything to be approved and validated so that he can cash out.
This is quite a bit less than the average pay out of £200, however it is worth noting that he was not able to complete many of the higher paid sign up offers as he had already signed up to a trial with quite a few companies in the past. That meant he had to skip these offers, some of which were worth £22.
It’s also worth noting that on some offers, you will have to pay some money out to get more money back. For example, you might have to pay £1 for a free trial, but you will earn a total of £5 back from that offer.
How to keep making money with 20Cogs after cashing out
Once you are signed up to 20Cogs, you can refer your friends and family so that they can make some money too! The added bonus is that once you have successfully referred a friend, you will receive 5% of their earnings per offer, and an additional £20 once they complete their ‘20Cogs’ and cash out.
Another perk of 20Cogs is that you can get a nice amount of freebies from completing the offers! When my partner completed his 20Cogs freebies included a Graze box, 4 issues of Grazia magazine, a week of daily disposable contact lenses and a box of Simply Cook seasoning meal kits.
20Cogs is certainly a great way to earn some extra cash relatively quickly. Remember to use my special link to get a £10 bonus!
