But this wouldn’t be Thrifty Londoner without bringing you in on the insider knowledge on getting a bargain in the capital. 1. Lofty’s Furniture
Lofty’s is a real London gem when it comes to furniture outlet stores in London. You’ll find Lofty’s near Bow, East London at 431 Wick Lane. They sell luxury furniture from the high street and online companies (think MADE, Swoon Editions, and John Lewis), at affordable prices. Remarkably, it really is possible to find cheap furniture in London.
After appearing on BBC show Flipping Profit for Children In Need, the store became well known among Londoners. So how do they manage to sell branded furniture at a discount? The answer is simple. Their stock comes from returns, cancelled orders, overruns and end of range products.

2. Topps Tiles Outlet
Located in Wembley, Topps Tiles have a dedicated outlet store. Here you’ll find clearance lines, tools, trims, underfloor heating and other accessories at a discount. Open every day of the week, this place will certainly help bring down the cost of any home renovation projects.

3. Heal’s Outlet
Looking for an array of designer furniture and home furnishings? Look no further than Heal’s. With exquisite pieces and sought-after brand names, anyone could find something special here.
Heal’s have historically had outlet stores, with a location in Chiswick and a pop up outlet on the King’s Road in Chelsea. However, currently, they do not have a dedicated clearance store. Instead, head to the first floor of their flagship store on Tottenham Court Road to view their extensive clearance section.

4. Outlet Furniture Store
Based in Luton, Outlet Furniture Store is the place to go for discounted British designer furniture. You’ll find items like a Loaf sofa at £600 down from £2,000, brands like Soho Home, John Lewis, Sonder Living, Timothy Oulton, Tesoro and much more.
If you can’t make it to Luton, the website is fully comprehensive, and delivery is offered at a cost of £59. And if you’d rather collect and transport your new furniture yourself? You can do that too!
5. Andrew Martin
The Andrew Martin outlet showroom is located in Wimbledon. The showroom is a whopping 11,000 sq. ft., with thousands of discounted pieces of designer furniture. The stock is made up of ex-display items, end of the line products and photoshoot samples, all generously discounted.
Every week the showroom is updated, and you can find pretty much anything and everything in the store. Pieces range from arm chairs and sofas to artwork and chandeliers.
Mondital is a luxury Italian furniture outlet store based in Walthamstow. The showroom is over 12,000 sq. ft. and showcases a broad range of classic and contemporary Italian furniture that is end of line or discontinued. The furniture is sourced directly from Italian manufacturers, and the saving is then passed onto the customer.
Stock is in constant rotation, and although much of their collection is shown online, not every item makes it onto their website before it is sold in store. Drop into the store Mon-Sat to pick up a great piece of discounted luxury furniture.
Raft have stores in Richmond and Westfield, and specialise in British handmade furniture and home furnishings. Although these stores are not outlets in themselves, Raft do have an outlet selection on their website, and you can check out the quality in their London-based stores beforehand if you wish.
Established in 1999, Raft specialise in handmade in London sofas and reclaimed teak furniture. Sustainability is at the heart of what the brand do. Today, Raft is made up of five sofa factories in Wembley, a reclaimed teak factory in Indonesia and six showrooms nationally.
8. London Furniture Outlet
This aptly named store does what it says on the tin and offers Londoners the chance to buy furniture at outlet prices. London Furniture Outlet has a warehouse based in Hackney, but they are primarily an online company and do not display products at their warehouse.
The difference between London Furniture Outlet and other outlets in London, is that their customers are mostly landlords, property developers and businesses looking to furnish their properties. If that’s you, you may be able to get a bargain deal on several items of furniture at once.
Pick up or delivery can usually be arranged same day from either their Hackney warehouse or another storage facility based in Essex. Check out their website to see the furniture available.
Although Ikea don’t have any dedicated outlet stores in London, they do have their Circular Hub in every store. This section is where you can get reduced furniture at outlet prices. Usually the pieces are discontinued, end of the line, damaged, or second hand and are significantly reduced in price.

You might associate sample sales with clothing and accessories, but did you know that you’ll also find furniture and home furnishings sample sales too?
You can follow businesses such as Chicmi to stay ahead of upcoming home furniture and furnishings sample sales in London. Tom Dixon, Pooky and Matilda Goad being great examples. You can also follow event spaces such as The Box who will also advertise upcoming sample sales at their venue.
One of the best things you can do though, is to follow your favourite London-based furniture and home designers on social media to be notified as soon as a sample sale is nearing. Often, they are advertised just a few weeks in advance, and you don’t want to miss out!

11. Trade Secret
Technically, Trade Secret is a website, but it deserves a place in this list of furniture outlet stores in London all the same. Trade Secret sell returned, cancelled and over-ordered furniture, at up to 60% off!
On their website you’ll find a £99 and under section, where you can snap up some serious bargains. Trade Secret sells branded furniture, but for legal reasons must remove the tags on the pieces for resale. That said, because of these branded labels, you can be sure that what you’re buying is likely to be good quality.
Trade Secret has warehouses in Cheshire and Oxford, but shopping online is easy. All you have to do is register your email address before shopping.
